This class is where our 12-17 year olds can gather Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 430-530 PM to learn and train the movements of CrossFit among their peers. Whereas "The Pack" in our CrossFit KIDS program focuses on movement and having fun, CrossFit Teens expands on fundamentals and increases the intensity. Each hour-long class consists of a Warm Up, Stretch, and Workout, combining the elements of cardio, weightlifting, and gymnastics. As mentioned, our Teens will be expanding on CrossFit fundamentals and further develop proper Olympic and Power Lifting techniques. Additionally, they will learn to safely push their mental and physical limits as they strive to increase intensity with their workouts. Under the close supervision of our CrossFit Teens Coaches Kristin and Kurt, each athlete has the opportunity to build their strength and conditioning that can be applied to sports, eventual participation in adult CrossFit classes, or life in general.
